Steven D. Freedman, M.D., Ph.D., is Director of the Pancreas Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. An internationally recognized expert in pancreatic disease and cystic fibrosis, he has led major clinical and translational research initiatives, including programs supporting NIH-funded investigators and CF-focused GI research. He is currently conducting research on behalf of Changing Futures for Cystic Fibrosis, focused on advancing new approaches to better understand and treat the disease’s long-term impact later in life.
